Wollie Wolcott serves as an entrepreneurial development business analyst for Innovate Mississippi, assisting new start-up companies and guiding entrepreneurs along the path to commercialization.
Previously, he spent 10 years as a research assistant at the University of South Alabama Medical School in the departments of neurosurgery, pathology, biochemistry and pharmacology. In addition, he served 20 years in the pharmaceutical industry as a sales representative calling on academic medical institutions, private hospitals, military and VA facilities.
Wollie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from the University of South Alabama.
Wollie resides in Madison with his wife, Edna. They have a daughter, Laura, in Starkville and a son, Stephen, in Savannah, Georgia.
