Branding/Content Strategist and Advocate for Community Development

Tim Mask is an equity partner and “Vice President of Stuff” with the creative content and marketing firm Maris, West & Baker. Tim’s background is in branding and content strategy, and works with clients across a variety of verticals including education, energy, public health, economic development, tourism, and non-profits.
 
Aside from his “paying gigs” Tim’s passion lies with helping to improve the knowledge Economy ecosystem in Mississippi. Tim is the founder of the Fast Forward Mississippi Initiative focused on reversing the state’s outmigration of talent, and is a co-founder of the related Kids Code Mississippi project, which advocates for digital skills education among youth.
 
Tim is a co-founder and co-organizer of TEDxJackson, and an alumni speaker of TEDxWindham and TEDxAntioch.
 
Tim serves on various boards and advisory committees working on issues related to education, economic improvement, and creative arts promotion. He also used to be kinda good at tennis.
