Oxford, Miss. – NoTime2Cook, a southern-style frozen casserole company, based in Oxford, Mississippi landed a deal with Walmart last week at the 2017 Walmart Open Call event in Bentonville, Arkansas. NoTime2Cook is woman owned and operated by Karen Kurr.
Karen began NoTime2Cook in her family kitchen, and later added a commercial kitchen to her home. As her hobby became a business, Karen moved production out of her home and into a USDA food plant. As a certified Woman Owned Business, she qualified for low interest loans through the Mississippi Development Authority.
NoTime2Cook’s classic Southern dishes such as Chicken and Dressing, Chicken and Dumplings, and Chicken Pie are currently sold in over two hundred Kroger stores and independent retailers as well as an online store. The initial placement in Walmart will include two hundred fifty stores.
