This May, Starkville-based Camgian was named the Industrial IoT (“Internet of Things”) Company of the Year in the 6th Annual Compass Intelligence awards.
The awards, presented by the global analytics company Compass Intelligence, are voted on by an outside group of press, editors, journalists and thought leaders in the industry.
“In this ever-so-competitive tech environment, it is important to take note of companies excelling in the industry and evaluated from a neutral third-party process,” states Stephanie Atkinson, CEO & founder of Compass Intelligence. “We are honored to announce this year’s award recipients and want to congratulate each and every one of them for the dedicated leadership, innovation, and accomplishments.”
Camgian is a leader in developing end-to-end platforms comprising advanced sensors, wireless communications, real-time signal processing and data analytics to fill intelligence gaps for both the defense and commercial markets.
“We are honored to continue to be recognized as a leading company in the IoT industry,” says Gary Butler, CEO of Camgian. “IoT represents one of the technologies that is shaping the future and we are passionate about playing a significant role in its innovation and development.”
Along with year-to-year accolades from Compass Intelligence, Camgian has racked up other honors: Inc. Magazine named Camgian one of the fastest growing private companies in the US, and Entrepreneur Magazine as one of the most entrepreneurial companies in America.
