Indemnity and Insurance Provisions in Commercial Contracts,” a 90-minute Lunch & Learn presentation on on the types of insurance coverage frequently required in commercial contracts, contractual requirements evidencing insurance, and the importance of coordinating indemnity and insurance contractual provisions with a company’s insurance coverage. The seminar will also provide a broad overview of critical contractual indemnity provisions, and will address the general limits to enforceability of contract indemnity, drafting indemnity provisions to allocate responsibility for third-party claims arising out of contract performance, the interrelationship between indemnity provisions, and other contract terms involving procurement of insurance and limitations on recoverable damages.
