These Pitch Events spotlight innovative startups and small businesses from every corner of the Magnolia State, giving founders a chance to pitch their ideas to the public, win funding, and connect with the experts, mentors and resources that can help turn their vision into reality.

This page is your source for event details, application deadlines, and registration links. Whether you’re building a high-growth tech startup or launching a traditional small business, there’s an event for you—and now it’s easier than ever to find it and apply!
Local partner organizations host each pitch event in cities across Mississippi. That means you can find an event close to home while tapping into a statewide support network. Pitch participants receive visibility and feedback and the chance to win cash prizes on one of two different tracks the “Small Business” track and the “High-Growth” track.
Plus, some pitch participants on the “High Growth” track may qualify for an invitation to Innovate Mississippi’s CoBuilders accelerator—an intensive, 12-week program that helps selected startups scale quickly and sustainably while helping them get ready to take on venture capital. Startups on the “Small Business” track can get specialized help from the MSBDCN with an eye toward growing their business via bootstrapping, engaging local investors or applying for small business loans.
