Tasha assists entrepreneurs along the path to commercialization. She works directly with more than 120 startup companies each year, assisting with their business plans, development and funding. She also coordinates the Startup Weekend Mississippi business creation competitions, the annual New Venture Challenge business plan competition and the annual Company & Investor Spotlight business pitch event.
In Tasha’s previous roles with Innovate Mississippi, she worked with the Strategic Biomass Solutions and served as state director for United States Academic Decathlon in Mississippi.
Tasha received her Master of Business from Jackson State University and a Bachelor of Science in business administration with an emphasis in marketing from Mississippi College.
