Magnolia Report Spotlights Lobaki’s VR Innovations in Education

This past month, Jeremy Pittari in the Magnolia Tribune highlighted a long-time Mississippi innovator, Lobaki, and their intriguing new partnership with Mississippi charter schools. Pitttari details how Lobaki is helping bring students immersive virtual reality (VR) experiences thanks to a $510,000 federal grant. We’ve had the privilege of working with Lobaki for several years and watching them grow in VR. It’s incredible to see how they continue to push the boundaries of technology in education.

Lobaki’s work with the Mississippi Charter School Authorizer Board (MCSAB) is poised to augment classrooms across the state. Their VR content allows students to explore everything from the inner workings of a living cell to historical landmarks, all within a virtual setting. This partnership will give K-8 students unique learning opportunities that enhance traditional education.

One standout in the article is how Lobaki’s VR experiences are not just about technology for technology’s sake—they design the experiences to align with Mississippi’s educational standards, ensuring that these tools directly support the curriculum. Teachers will receive professional development to integrate VR into their lesson plans, making it a holistic approach to improving education. Seeing a Mississippi-based company lead educational innovation is a pleasure.

We want to thank Magnolia Report for spotlighting Lobaki’s fantastic work. If you haven’t already, read the full article in Magnolia Tribune to learn more about how Lobaki is revolutionizing education in Mississippi. We’re proud of their accomplishments and can’t wait to see what’s next!
