The America’s Seed Fund Road Tour is a nationwide initiative to link innovators and entrepreneurs with non-dilutive funding opportunities in technology offered through the SBIR/STTR programs.
Running from February 7 to July 19, the in-person tour spans 16 states and territories, facilitating connections between innovators, entrepreneurs, and federal agencies before it’s over. This tour serves as a platform to connect entrepreneurs working on advanced technologies with America’s Seed Fund, the country’s largest early-stage funding source.
The tour will stop in Jackson, Mississippi, on April 4th. All potential SBIR and STTR applicants can benefit. The Small Business Administration (SBA) will host 25 SBIR and STTR Agencies program managers for one-on-one meetings. Mississippi’s entrepreneurs, small tech firms, researchers, and scientists are strongly encouraged to participate. This event presents a rare opportunity to engage directly with federal funders!
If you’re a small technology firm, innovator, entrepreneur, or researcher in Mississippi, take advantage of this local opportunity to directly engage with federal agency program managers and decision-makers.
To participate in the one-on-one meetings, you must register and submit a Quad Chart for each opportunity you would like to discuss with the Program Managers. Please note that this is not a pitching session but a chance to receive feedback and guidance on your idea. As the meetings are brief, you should provide a concise overview of your idea and prepare questions to ask the Program Managers.
