WTVA ran a story this week about Starkville-based CampusKnot, which offers virtual classroom tools for teachers and professors. CampusKnot is an Innovate Mississippi client as well as a success story for the Mississippi State University Entrepreneur Center, or E-Center.
CampusKnot is a software-as-a-service offering that allows college professors and teachers to interact with their students using tools similar to the social media tools they use every day, with the goal of increasing engagement and interactivity in both traditional and virtual classroom environments.
WTVA Reporter Nicole Dantzler talked to Campusknot CEO Rahul Gopal. The company is seeing growth because of the need for learn-from-home tools, and Gopal says that CampusKnot’s technology roadmap has been expedited as a result, with them bringing tools to market faster in response to the demand.

CampusKnot has a special COVID-19 response section of its website outlining some of the changes they’re implementing and how their software can work together with tools such as Zoom to make for an interactive online class.
